Motion

Overview
This section features motion work created for different clients, including Finesse by Alpina, Dinero by Semana, Alquilando and more
.
Although the projects span different industries and formats; from explainer videos and social media animations to video openers. I started with a blank page, defining the story or message first, then moved into storyboarding, animation, and final editing in After Effects or Jitter, using Illustrator and Photoshop to create supporting assets.
Key Services & Role
Role: Motion Designer
I owned the full motion design process end-to-end across every project in this reel, developing the initial concept and story, storyboarding, animating, editing, and delivering the final video. Nothing was handed off halfway through the process. Each piece reflects a complete idea-to-delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Concept Development
- Storytelling & Scriptwriting
- Storyboarding
- Animation (After Effects, Jitter)
- Asset Creation (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Video Editing
- Final Delivery
Challenge
Each client had a different goal and audience. A dairy brand needed something warm and personal, a finance publication needed clarity and credibility.
The challenge was turning the different messages into clear visual stories that worked in a short amount of time, without relying on a script or narrator to explain everything.
Goals
General goals
- Communicate a message or product clearly within a short runtime.
- Create something visually distinct enough to hold attention across social and campaign placements.
- Deliver a finished, publish-ready video without needing a separate production team.
Creative goals
- Develop a clear story or concept before any animation began, tailored to each client's tone.
- Maintain visual and narrative clarity across very different formats and industries.
- Build a personal, recognizable style across the reel despite the variety of clients.
Design Approach
Every piece in this reel started with the story, not the visuals. Before animating, I defined what the video needed to communicate and how the story should flow. I then created a storyboard to establish the structure and pacing before moving into full animation.
I built supporting assets like characters, icons, and backgrounds in Illustrator and Photoshop, then brought everything into After Effects for animation and final editing. I handled the timing, transitions, and visual rhythm to match each client’s tone.
Since I managed the full process from concept to final export, each video has a consistent creative approach while still feeling unique to each brand.
Project Solutions
- Explainer Videos - Designed and animated explainer videos that translate a product or concept into a short, visual story. Built to be understood without relying on narration alone.
- Video Openers - Created short, high-impact openers designed to set tone and pacing for longer video content, establishing a visual identity within the first few seconds.
- Social Media Motion Designed short-form animated content built specifically for social platforms — fast-paced, visually distinct, and built to hold attention in a scrolling feed.
- End-to-End Creative Ownership - Managed the complete process for every piece, concept, storytelling, storyboard, asset creation, animation, and editing. Without handing off any stage to another creative.
Outcomes
These projects show a consistent creative process: concept first, story before visuals. I applied that approach across very different clients and formats, from a dairy brand and global gaming console to tourism and finance content.
Together, they show my ability to take a motion project from a blank page to a finished, client-ready video—handling the story, asset creation, animation, and editing from start to finish.
